About Umid Babek Operating Company (UBOC) Project

A Branch of “UMID BABEK OPERATING COMPANY” in the Azerbaijan Republic is a company owned by Umid Babek Operating Company. The “UMID BABEK OPERATING COMPANY” offshore field is located in the Caspian Sea, 75 km south of Baku.Three (3) million m3 of gas and four hundred seventy (470) tons of gas condensate are being produced daily from the UMID field and then transported via the existing Dashgil terminal to the Sangachal Head Facilities (SHF) using SOCAR’s infrastructure / network.

The company carries out activities related to exploration, development, and production. Socar-Umid Oil and Gas Limited and Umid Babek Exploration and Production (Contractor) have signed a contract for oil and gas operations effective May 2, 2017. The Babek prospective structure in the Caspian Sea is 75 km south of Baku.
