About Derrick Barge Azerbaijan Project

Derrick Barge Azerbaijan is a specialized vessel used for offshore construction and heavy lifting operations. It was built by the Baku Deepwater Jacket Factory in Azerbaijan and has a lifting capacity of up to 3,000 metric tons. The barge is equipped with a large derrick that can be used to install and remove offshore structures, such as oil and gas platforms or wind turbines.

It has a length of 146 meters and a width of 45 meters, with accommodation for up to 400 personnel on board. The Derrick Barge Azerbaijan is an important asset for the oil and gas industry in the Caspian Sea region, and it is operated by the state oil company SOCAR.
